We've just had an email from our youngest daughter giving us details of the flights she has booked to visit us and it's tickets for two. Big Deal you might be thinking, what's to get excited about? Well it's a very Big Deal for our eldest daughter as she hates flying and has only been out here once in the six years we have lived here. She hasn't seen our new house, except in photographs, so it will be interesting to hear her views on her dads architectural abilities. It also means that we have to get the pool cleaned and filled and a gazebo errected.
I'm looking forward to introducing her to our friends, they have heard so much about her and her promised visits that have never happened. At least they will know that she is real and not just a figment of my imagination.
This blog lark is a bit addictive. I'm very much a novice at this but I'm watching instuctional videos at www.hummiesworld.com so don't be surprised to see a few changes around here
