Bless you girls and many many thanks for our Christmas present even if we did have to pay for it ourselves. (A slight misunderstanding in the booking details! )
After lunch we made our way to the booking office to check in for our helicopter sightseeing trip. Steve as usual was cracking jokes to cover up his nerves. There were 4 of us on this flight and we were given instructions regarding the seat belts and headphones and were told where to sit. They must of known how nervous Steve was and guess who got the front seat - you've got it Steve.
When we were strapped in with our headphones on the helicopter took of. It was my first time in a helicopter and I loved it. We flew up and down the glacier and over the top of the mountain. It was breathtaking. The pilot then landed on the snow and allowed us out of the helicopter for photos.
It was all over too soon but what an incredible sight the glacier was from above, in my mind its the best way to see it and even Steve agreed
